WRYNGWYRM HIGH COUNCIL
KIMWAYE, Jarl.
Sturaesman of Wryngwyrm and current Archery Champion two years running, this is my council.
''Mid all this strife and tumult now sleep doth mine eyelids flee, These men will find it hard, I trow, To make peace with me, Before upon their crests shall ring, My arrow in battle-fray, I've slain men for a small thing, And why not these I pray''.

OSWALD OLAFSSON, Secretary.
Comes from several generations of mixed Anglo/Danish decent, and my family back ground is typical of many of the higher class of society in the 11 century. My grandfather had been a professional household soldier with King Svein Forkbeard, and retired after assisting in King Cnut gaining the English throne. In thanks for this service he was granted a former Saxon thegn's land near Bedanforda. My father has farmed this land and now it is promised to my older brother, so I have had to seek my own fortune.
I have taken the family trade of warfare becoming senior Huscarl in charge of the garrison at Bedanforda after year of honing my skills fighting the Welsh and Viking raiders for my new King, Harold Godwinson.
(Soon he will undertake his greatest test as the events of 1066 unfold, but for the present he can be found practicing his combat skills, collecting taxes or as his nickname denotes 'Oswald the Devout' often preying at the church of St
Mary's) _____________________________________________________________________________________________
RAGNAR SKALLAGRIM, Living History Thegn.
Born in the year 881, my father was granted land for his part in the taking of Wessex from King Alfred in 878. The land is called Kemeston in a part of East Anglia called Bedansfordscir in Danelaw, close to the borders of Mercia.
I learnt the art of warfare and to use a bow from my father at an early age, so not only am I fair warrior I also hunt well (man or beast). When i am not defending our lands I trade in meat, furs and leather.
